Erica Boswell's Analysis of WeTellStories.co.uk
I would like to introduce to you the winner of the 2009 SXSW Web Awards, Wetellstories.co.uk. It is also the lucky web site that was chosen for my project 2 web site analysis. We Tell Stories beat out four other web sites in the experimental category. Each submitted web site was judged on its visual design, functionality, interactivity, content, and creativity. While, I will not be analyzing this web site on all of these criteria, I will be trying to find out if it meets the standards of what I have learned this semester in CMS 3710. I would like to point out that this web sites was not yet the winner when I chose it.

For my analysis I will focus on theme, content, site structure, typography, and color. I will be using Making the Invisible Visible (Hillman Curtis) and The Web Style Guide (Patrick J. Lynch and Sara Horton) as references for my analysis. I chose this web site because I like to tell stories. I love writing and wanted to see if this web site would inspire me to venture else where with my writings besides pen and paper. I plan to break down each aspect of this web site to see just how effecting this new way of telling stories really is.
