Website Analysis
Introduction
I am Second, a non-profit organization, was recognized by SXSW festival as a 2009 web awards finalist. The organization was nominated in the activism category, which focus on website's and or organizations striving to make a difference in our world. I am Second is a religious organization devoted to bringing awareness to issues facing our communities, such as, substance abuse, prostitution, war, divorce, and racism. The organization isn't specific to denomination, but embraces spiritually as a whole. The site provide links to audio and video presentations of those affected by these issues. Flash animation is applied to images on the homepage, making it a visually attractive website. The colors used in the site are striking and bold, leaving an impression on its viewers.
This site will analyze both good and bad aspects of site design, applying the guidelines we learned in class from Manovich,Curits and the Web Style Guide. This site will analyze I am Second on the following criteria's:
