This is the home page for my work in CMS 3710, a course offered at Clayton State University in Spring 2009.

Web Site Analysis

TMZ.com is a prominent online source of entertainment news. As a college radio personality, I frequently visit this website to research the latest celebrity gossip. Based on the Web Style Guide's section on site design themes, TMZ has an entertainment design theme that immediately captures the reader with interesting headlines and teasers. The website also uses videos and banner ads to visually stimulate the audience. TMZ uses a hierarchical site structure that is appropriate for my needs because the usage pattern is nonlinear. A hierarchical site structure makes it easy for TMZ to organize a lot of information. The site allows me to navigate between blogs and access any information on celebrities that is requested by my listeners. I can also refer to previous stories through hyperlinks.
