Aviary uses flash players as demos of creations. Although Aviary provides these demos, they are not very effective because they do not give instruction. The demos provide a fast forward of a creation and users would not be able to keep up with nor understand the techniques displayed in the video.

Although the videos display annoying show offs of creations, Aviary does utilize multimedia in a way that sticks with the central theme of the site which is spreading your wings and exploring the opportunities to create a masterpiece. The videos are not tutorials, but actually a form or inspiration so therefore useful to conveying Aviary’s message.
