Strengths & Weaknesses
Strengths
The most important feature throughout the site is its consistency. Aviary commits to a central theme and promotes it in every aspect of the web site. Other than the theme, Aviary is also consistent with the site design. No matter which page you roam to, you will remain fully aware that you are still on Aviary.com because they have a staple header and logo at the top of every page.

Aviary is 100% free for users whom wish to use basic media editors. They provide a collection of media editors ranging from image editors to audio editors. The best thing is that you can easily access all of the tools online for free as long as you have a flash player and an internet connection!
Another great characteristic of Aviary is that when you are signing up as a new user, Aviary provides the opportunity to link your new profile to an existing profile on other popular sites such as Facebook, Twitter, etc. With this function, users can automatically post their creations on Facebook (or any of the other sites) without hassle.
Weaknesses
The only weakness that I found prevalent on the site was that there are no guides or instructions on how to use the tools. Someone new to the site would be completely lost. I tried to make a creation and I had no clue where to begin. I actually had to go on YouTube to watch instructional videos posted by Aviary users to discover the functions of the tools. I encourage new users to do a little research before creating anything because you will be lost.
